Here they all are at the art show,

The theme this year had to do with representing the animal kingdom in art. Each student was responsible for doing a total of eight pieces. Two were personal, and the remaining pieces were basically a series on some aspect of animal and human relationships or matters to do with environmental or extinction issues etc.
Guests were given an insight into how the class worked via a lively panel discussion sparked by interesting exchanges, comments and questions from myself or the audience.
The other special items on display were the "special sketchbooks" each student was responsible for. The assigned drawings in these displayed the incredible skills and unique styles of each student in the class.
I would like to thank everyone who had a hand in making this art show happen. To the parents who brought the snacks, to St. Aidan's Christian School for this signature art program recognizing and encouraging the arts in a Christian setting. And of course to the students who did all that exquisite art and set up the gallery by themselves. Fantastic work.

"I grew up not knowing I was an artist, on the farm.
My first drawings were about my best friend,
my dog - Ricky!
Then I knew I was an artist!"
